Sheet 01 — Studio

Plain Point
Studio

Indie developer building small, focused, privacy-first apps.

Plain Point Studio is Passakorn, one developer in Thailand, building and shipping small software end to end: browser apps, Android builds, and line-of-business systems with real users.

Six projects, built one at a time. Most of them keep everything you type on the device you typed it on: no account to make, no server holding your ledger, your health notes or your audio. Where an app genuinely needs a server, its label says so.

Capability

What I take on

Small, finishable software. A browser app or PWA you can install; a React and TypeScript front end on Supabase or Cloudflare; an Android build taken through Play Console review; a Python dashboard over data you already have. If a job is bigger than one person should sensibly take, I’ll say so.

Lot 01Live

Life Balance Index (openslbi.plainpoint.net in a new tab)

A self-assessment dashboard for eight aspects of life. Answer a research-backed baseline once, then check in weekly with rough measured quantities (activity, sleep, savings, learning) and eight A–F grades and a single Balance Index move only as much as the numbers justify. Weekly, not a daily logging ritual.

Lot 04Live

Runaway (opensseehighxb.github.io/Runaway in a new tab)

A shared run log for a small circle of friends. Post distance, time and notes; everyone sees a live leaderboard and a zero-sum baht loss pool. The one app here that needs a server, because the whole point is that your friends see it.

MidoriLeafy Ledger

A personal finance ledger: multi-currency accounts, recurring bills and paychecks that fast-forward themselves, and monthly savings, cash-flow and budget charts. Everything lives in the browser.

Lot 06Private build

Table of FiveVirtual Tabletop

A browser virtual tabletop for one D&D party. Rolls are made by the server, a Supabase Edge Function running the same TypeScript engine the browser uses, and arrive over Realtime; the browser has no write access to the roll log at all. The 3D dice are scenery: every face is pinned to the value the server already chose. A browser without WebGL, or a reader who asked for reduced motion, gets the 2D log instead.

  • Supabase Realtime
  • Server-authoritative rolls
  • Unit tested (Vitest)
